This post is part of my monthly Community Engagement Thread series, free to all of my subscribers. If you’re looking to join a supportive community to chat about all things motherhood, creativity, neurodiversity, then you’re in the right place! Come on in…
Hi Friends!
Welcome to this month’s Community Engagement Thread! I’m so excited to create this space for conversations with all of you.
Recap on how it works:
Imagine we’re all sat in a living room, it’s completely informal and relaxed, we have our drinks of choice and we talk and chat and natter about whatever is on our minds. Sort of like a book club meeting without the books. I suppose if we didn’t all live in different countries and time zones, and we had enough energy and time and space, we could meet on Zoom to do this, but none of that is true, so we bring it to a monthly post to chat instead 😅.
I’d love to hear your thoughts, questions, and experiences around the main topics of this community:
✨ Motherhood
🎨 Creative business
🧠Neurodiversity
What’s going on for you in these areas right now? Is there something you’re navigating or figuring out? Maybe you have a question, a win to share, or just need a sounding board – this space is here for all of that. This community is here for all of that.
I’ll be hanging out in the comments, and I can’t wait to see what conversations spark from this! Feel free to reply to each other’s comments too – the more conversation, the better!

Let’s build a business that’s baggy enough to live in.
My autism assessment is in just over a month. I've had a lot of feeling around it, some that have been very surprising.
I'm child-free, but creative business and neurodiversity are both things I think about a lot. RE creative business, I am still in the process of figuring out what my counseling business will look like when I qualify. This is taking longer than I thought! I am getting very caught up in how I *should* practice, as opposed to how I *want* to practice.
RE neurodiversity, my thoughts, beliefs and opinions around autism and ADHD are evolving in light of new research being published. This is a big topic which I won't go into here, but basically I don't want to write about neurodivergence forever. I'm looking at rebranding at the end of this year so I can more easily talk about other topics.
