Welcome to The Cabins - a soft, quiet space for you to retreat to and breathe.
Here I share short calming voice notes when you need a moment of stillness. There are gentle reminders, reflections, and permission slips to slow down, honour your energy, and be human.
Put your feet up. Breathe. Rest here awhile.
Hi friends,
How are you?
Today’s voice note is about running a business with limited spoons.
You know those days when your body says no, or your brain feels foggy, or when energy is something other people seem to have consistently, I see you.
If you’re running on empty and trying to build a business with limited spoons, around children, fluctuating mental health, or another job, I want to tell you that it’s ok to build slowly.
You don’t have to show up every minute of every day.
You don’t even need to show up every day.
You’re allowed to structure your business in a way that supports your needs.
You don’t have to explain your energy or why you work when your body and your brain allow you to, to anyone.
You can do beautiful, meaningful work on a reduced schedule.
You can create your version of success, and it doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
You are enough. Exactly as you are.
Speak soon,
Are you stuck in your business and you don’t know where to go next? Do you have tons of ideas, but you don’t know where to start? Why not book a 1:1 session with me to talk things over? I can help provide clarity, focus and help you create a roadmap of your next steps. You’ll receive a concise summary of what we discussed, complete with actionable steps to keep you moving forward. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, let’s chat!
Sigh. Thank you for this validation. Going to remind myself of this often today.
Love this Sophie! I am going to be writing about spoon theory and having a reduced capacity soon.
