Hello wonderful Simple & Calm friends. We’re on Lesson Twenty Nine already!
How did you get on with your screen time in the last lesson? Here are my results:
Before I monitored my screen time:
After monitoring my screen time:
Come and share your results with the S&C community in the Chat, or let me know how you got on in the comments. I had a really strong start and was down 20% over the week, which I was so happy about. Although, if I’m completely honest with you, I swapped the time spent on my phone to time spent on my laptop instead. I know that’s not good, but I did this because of the Substack app update.
At first I really thought I liked the new app update, but after an hour or so I soon realised that it was very overwhelming, confusing, and lots of my favourite features had disappeared (along with all of my saved posts!). I’m struggling to enjoy reading and being in the app right now, and so I’ve switched to using Substack via the desktop, hence why my phone screen time has decreased.
How are you feeling about the app update? Are you enjoying it?
Anyway, this all ties in very well with today’s lesson theme which is all about apps. We’ll be looking at:
Essential apps
Non essential apps
Apps that bring positivity or happiness/joy
