Lesson Twenty Three: Beginning to tackle the clutter
This is Lesson Twenty Three of the Simple & Calm course. Today’s lesson is all about working through our lists that we created in Lesson Twenty Two, and beginning to make a start on the clutter, focusing on the quick and easy wins first. These are what will keep us motivated to continue. During our last lesson (Lesson Twenty Two) we wandered through our house and made a list of things we’d like to change. This exercise wasn’t a materialistic exercise. It wasn’t a list of everything we’d like to throw out and buy new. No, instead that list is to help you focus on how each room makes you feel.
The feel of a room is what’s most important when designing your simple and calm life. It doesn’t really matter what each room looks like, as long as it feels like a safe and calm space for you. Everyone has their own unique perspective on what makes them feel safe and calm, so you do what feels right for you.
Now, we need to take that list and read it through.
