A free alternative to Microsoft which could save you A LOT of money! Basically, Sheets is Google’s version of Microsoft Excel, and Docs is Google’s version of Microsoft Word. All you need is a personal Google account to access them, and they’re completely free.
I’ve been holding on to Microsoft for turning csv files into excel. Does that work in Google sheets? And thank you for the reminder to consider cancelling the update for the Microsoft package next year.
This has honestly been one of the best discoveries for me in the last year or two. Before running my own biz, I had no real use for docs but now...they are invaluable for communicating with clients. Leaving notes for each other in real time is so awesome.
I like the Google suite and use it a lot, but still can't get let go of good old Microsoft Word!! I think it's handy to have the Microsoft products there because sometimes (at least for me) the Google tools don't cut it. But totally get what you're saying in this post!
They do have their limitations, don't they? For me, I don't mind, but I can understand how for some people it's easier to stick with what they're used to.

Yes! Me too! It's been fantastic for me, I couldn't live without it now.
