But the question on many creative’s lips remains, ‘how do I grow my business if I don’t want to use social media?’. Well, how about Pinterest? Whenever I talk about, or recommend Pinterest, I’m often met with the same few responses. Many people don’t really understand how Pinterest works, let alone how to create a Pin, optimise it for SEO, and eventually grow their business.
Pinterest is such a great platform to drive traffic without much effort. Once you have a few things in place, it’ll be quick and easy to maintain going forward 😊
Love this! Brilliant offering, thank you Sarah and Claire!
I must admit I have only used Pinterest this year for some interior ideas and nothing else, ever.
My curiosity was sparked when I learned in here from a few people that they have such success with it.
Can’t wait for your offering, as I have never been very active on other social media platforms either due to overstimulation but have the feeling Pinterest might be more calm on my nervous system.
I’ve recently been learning more about how Pinterest works and how to use it, looking forward to attending this and getting more into it, as I really want to try and focus on SM less, but still grow my newsletter here.
Yes! So many people are feeling the same way as you, Linn. I think a lot of business owners think of Pinterest as a social media platform, and you absolutely can engage there, but it’s actually a search engine and it makes complete sense to use it as an alternative to social media 🙌🏻
Really excited for this! I love Pinterest and feel confident in my usage of the platform.. seriously one of my favorite internet places!! But could learn more w/ the SEO because I swear it constantly changes! So I am excited to see what you have come up with!! 😊
Sounds brilliant and much-needed, thank you in advance! I have used Pinterest in the past for my own personal moodboards and then also to pin images from my blog which I think has been helpful in driving traffic there. I haven’t yet started pinning my Substack posts. My question would be around when to use templates and when to literally pin an image from a post? Also I have little idea on the SEO side of things...
Sophie, I never considered Pinterest as much more than saving images that I enjoyed or about things I wanted to buy or design or to use as vision boards for my clients. How is Pinterest different - and possibly more effective? You'll probably cover this in your workshop. There is so much social media and I'm tired of all of it but understand it's a necessary evil. Your view results with Claire were outstanding!
I’d like to know how to actually drive traffic from Pinterest to Substack. I’ve tried pinning in the past, and while a few of my pins really took off, most of them didn’t really convert to traffic back to my site. Any suggestions on how to improve that would be appreciated.
✨🙏

Oh it’s so calm! That’s why I picked it up with Sophie!
Can’t wait to learn from your success. The screenshots with stats were impressive! :)
Pinterest is certainly a calm space to be. I really enjoy spending time over there 🥰
I've started to experiment with it, but don't really have any idea what I'm doing so looking forward to this session.
A lot of people are in the same boat, Louise! We will hopefully break it down and help you to understand what it is and how it works 🥰
Really looking forward to this as I’ve dabbled with it but would love to get more consistency!! Xx
That’s the key, isn’t it? Lots of people who I speak with struggle with maintaining the consistency after the initial burst of energy and excitement

Can't wait for this session, I'm dead keen to use my latent pinterest for something useful! Thank you both for offering it.
If you’ve got it, you may as well make it work for you! 🤣

I love Pinterest too. It’s such a nice place to hang out and get that scrolling fix, without the overwhelm 🤍
Yess -- the energy is just different there!

Great questions, Lyndsay! We’ll definitely discuss those in the workshop. Thank you for sharing 😊

Pinterest was huge for me a few years ago. I'm wondering if all my old pins could be hindering me in some way or is it all about the new content?
