Many of us writers are taking a break away from the overwhelm of social media, but what happens when we still have a business that we need to market? Where do we turn? Is there even an alternative to social media to advertise our creative businesses? Well, the answer is yes. There’s Pinterest.
about to keep a separate tab for this video and watch soon! i love, love pinterest. the only social media i use right now is facebook and i've been wanting to nourish my pinterest too! downloaded the pinterest checklist - looking forward to this work and hope to share my progress. 🌸
Super interesting and amazing advise, thank you ladies! I'm wondering if this would work for people who post less 'actionable' advise and more abstract things like I write? I am wondering if its the right platform for me. :)
Absolutely, Isabelle! Pinterest has been used for years to share blog posts, so sharing your Substack posts will work perfectly, no matter what you write about. You could search on Pinterest for your topic and see what comes up. If nothing comes up, don't be disheartened, you could create pins, add your work there, and be the go-to person for your topic.
You could certainly try it for a few weeks and see what results you get from it 😊
Love how we are working in more smart, less overwhelming ways with online marketing now - Pinterest is a PERFECT partner to Substack - thanks so much Sophie. ✨
